Tip for Tanning Spray

As I’ve been busy working on weekends, I haven’t had the opportunity to get to a beach and am sporting white legs; therefore, have turned to tanning spray when wearing a shorter dress. Unfortunately, the three I’ve tried have been far too yellow to match my skin tone. I’ve also found them to be a bit flat and missing a glow. Perhaps I am missing out on the right product; however, I found a solution to make the ones I purchased work for me. By taking a large brush and and a “shimmery” powder from my pink or peach pallet, I found a way to make it work. Just a dust of powder over my legs provided the color I hoped to find when I made my purchase.

The Art of Covering Veins

For those of you who may be self conscious of “spider veins” on your legs and feel uncomfortable wearing shorter dresses or shorts, there is a way to help conceal them with makeup. Apply concealer with a brush or a concealer pencil directly over the veins. As they are blue, use a slightly lighter color with a pinker tone to counteract the blue. If you have a tan or the area you’ve worked on appears lighter, daub on a darker powder matching the tone of your skin. I hope this is helpful!
