The weather has been cold and drab and I have been brightening it up with a sprinkle of glittering gold on the eyelids. Why settle for drab? Doesn’t hurt to add a daub to the lips as well!

I have many clients requesting “natural eyebrows” and they are under the assumption that this is executed using eyebrow powder or drawing in the entire area with pencil. In order to achieve that natural look, you must paint in thin strokes emulating eyebrow hair in the direction in which they grow using a thin brush. Blend them in with clear mascara or eyebrow gel.

My clients are always asking me what I recommend for removing eye makeup. My favorite is “Neutrogena Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Pads.” It never burns the eyes as many brands do, including the generic versions sold at the drug stores. Best to spend a few dollars more!
